Dis matter dem settle am after dem hold National Executive Council (NEC) meeting wey gather plenty big fish for Abuja. Dem gree say make dem take wahala cool down after dem see wetin government talk for the conciliation meeting wey happen for Ministry of Labour and Employment.
The meeting no be small gathering o, as e gather top officials from different unions dem wey dey under JOHESU like Medical and Health Workers’ Union (MHWUN), Nigerian Union of Allied Health Professionals (NUAHP), and Senior Staff Association of Universities, Teaching Hospitals, Research Institutes and Associated Institutions (SSAUTHRIAI). Even the Non-Academic Staff Union (NASU) and some veterans come join body to look for solution to the health workers’ wahala.
So, as dem dey talk, dem conclude say they go review all the salary wey don dey miss from 2009 till 2026. Na wa! From how e take start, the agreement say make dem start the implementation of the Consolidated Health Salary Structure (CONHESS) adjustment sharp-sharp, and dem go dey supervise am well well!
Plus! Government don promise say dem go waka back on top that “No Work, No Pay” matter wey dey pain many people, and dem go settle dem salaries wey dey hold for January 2026 for JOHESU members.
But make e clear, dem don give Federal Government tough warning say if dem no meet dem end of the bargain, TUC and NLC go come out with their own moves to deal with wahala wey dey affect health workers. Na so the matter dey hot. Dis one no go be play at all, so government better shine eyes!
And for dem wey join strike, no fear o! The NEC talk say no health worker go face punishment or wahala for partaking in this strike. Dem go ensure say everybody dey alright as dem go back to work.

All health workers dey expect plenty improvements, and dem hopes say dis new agbada wey dem don tailor go fit work well for everybody. Make dem no sleep on top this matter again!
