Omo, no be small wahala o! Power no dey for some parts of Abuja as AEDC don yarn say dem dey do maintenance work.
This power wahala na because of Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) wey dey fix transformers TR1 and TR2 for Kukwaba Transmission Substation. Dem say the work go finish by 2:00 pm, but e be like say people wey dey for Wuye, Utako, CITEC Estate and the rest no go fit enjoy light for some time.
AEDC don already apologize for the inconvenience wey this maintenance go cause. Dem tell us say them dey work to make sure say light go dey reliable for all of us. But for now, e no go easy for those wey dey suffer darkness. Cold water dey flow for their house and the gen go dey chop their money!
Na real matter be say, during this maintenance period, major areas like Idu Industrial, Coca-Cola area, PESI, FMC, EFCC, and plenty more dey quite dark. E be like say dem wan do power upgrades, but the people wey need am now na wey suffer pass!
Meanwhile for the same Abuja, another gist dey ground! Bayo Ojulari, the Group Chief Executive Officer of NNPCL don talk say we suppose give thanks for Dangote Refinery. According to am, the refinery dey help our oil and gas sector well-well.
Ojulari talk am for International Energy Summit wey dey happen for Abuja. E gem like say, no matter how person feel about Dangote, we gatz thank God say we get our own man wey build refinery like dis. Even though e no dey meet all our fuel needs, e don dey help reduce wahala wey dey happen when supply no dey.
“Thank God for Dangote Refinery. Na him give us some relief for this fuel supply matter,” Ojulari yarn, as crowd dey clap for am. E con mention say NNPCL go still work together with the refinery to make sure say we dey enjoy better service.
But wahala no fit leave am! These days, fuel prices don scatter everywhere! For Abuja now, petrol na between N839 and N905 per litre! Abeg, which kin jam we dey jam so? Every small thing don dey high since this adjustment start.
So, my people, whether na power issue or fuel matter, make we dey shine our eyes well. Naija no go ever dull us!
