Cubana Chief Priest talk say di attack wey happen on Tinubu birthday na opposition plot to shame di President. Skales hear am and blow hot. Him ask Cubana Chief Priest: “Where your conscience dey?” Skales talk say di guy don lose him humanity because of selfish interest. “Dis guy na delusional. I no fit believe say him talk dat. People don die and all wey you dey care na say President go shame. I no fit believe say you sit down write dis rubbish,” Skales yarn.

Meanwhile, for University of Jos, di management don order immediate evacuation of students from hostels. Na because of di worsening security situation for Jos. Di directive come from di institution Deputy Registrar, Information and Public Relations, Emmanuel Madugu. Di statement talk say Vice Chancellor Prof. Tanko Ishaya give di order after near chaotic scenarios wey unfold for areas near di university on Wednesday 1st April 2026.
Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang don provide transport services to help di evacuation, even during curfew hours. Students wey dey stay for Jos and environ dem don tell dem to vacate hostels from 3pm on Wednesday. For students wey dem parents dey outside Plateau State, dem go start evacuation from 8am on Thursday.

Plateau State Government don impose 48-hour curfew for Jos North Local Government Area to contain di situation. Dem don ease am on Wednesday to allow movement between 7am and 3pm daily. But as dem relax di curfew, hoodlums don take advantage. Dem attack motorists and residents for parts of di city on Wednesday morning. Fresh panic don spread.
As if dat one no enough, gunmen don abduct eight charcoal workers for Nyalun community, Bashar District of Wase Local Government Area. Di incident happen on Tuesday evening around 7:30pm. Di victims dey return from charcoal processing sites when di attackers intercept dem vehicle.
Youth leader for Wase, Shapi’i Sambo, confirm di incident. Him talk say di assailants initially abduct 10 persons but later release two to convey ransom demand. “Di victims dey return around 7:30pm when di perpetrators suddenly stop dem vehicle wey load with charcoal and carry dem go,” Mr Sambo yarn.
Di development don heighten fear among residents. Di abducted persons na Hassan Sa’idu, Shamsudden Abubakar, Usamatu Yakubu, Dayyabu Usman Waziri, Inkilulu Dauda, Ado Sambo, Sule Dahiru and Umar Amadu.
According to Sambo, di gunmen believe say dem don carry di victims enter Kukawa bush, one hideout for criminal groups wey dey operate for parts of Plateau. One of di two victims wey dem release, Mummuni Musa, talk say di kidnappers tie all di other victims before dem let him and another person go with instructions.
