My people, we gatz yan about wetin dey happen for Borno State! Over one million households don finally return to their ancestral homes. This na following di wahala wey go on, but thanks to di troops wey dey work for Operation Hadin Kai, things don dey change small-small.
Major General Abdulsalami Abubakar, wey dey lead di operation, come give di update as e dey brief journalists. Di man talk say dem don begin resettle plenty communities wey Boko Haram scatter well-well, bringing back thousands of families wey run comot during di insurgency wahala. Some of di communities wey don come back include Malam Fatori, Kekeno, Mala Jamel, and Yelwa. Na real comeback be dis!
General Abubakar also yarn say Kukawa, wey be ghost town before, don turn life jam-packed with plenty economic activities. No be joke at all! He talk say di aim of dis resettlement na to make sure say people fit go back to di normal life wey dem dey live before all dis palaver start.
Na dem resettlement phases wey General Abubakar talk about make am clear say Malam Fatori get over one million households wey don come back home. E mean say dem dey really put in work for di area. Di man even explain say dem dey work hand-in-hand with Borno State Government to make di environment dey safe for everybody. Na good news we dey hear!
Aside resettlement, di military don also help bring back vital infrastructure like di Forward Operating Base and repair di Duji Bridge wey Boko Haram don destroy since. Dis bridge na di only one wey connect Nigeria to Niger, and it don dey distress for years. But with di soldiers back, di place dey regain life again.
But no be all smooth sailing, sha. General Abubakar drop some bombshell for di journalists, talk say IEDs still dey pose serious wahala for military and di civilians. Dem dey use am to ambush troops because dem sabi say them no fit face dem in open fight. E don result to many losses, and e dey put civilians for danger.
Dem go still dey do stabilisation operations for areas like Meirari, wey dey around 30 kilometers from Monguno town. Di good news be say dem don reach almost 80% completion for di targeted areas. Na real progress, my people!
For conclusion, we fit still dey hope say as dem dey push for peace and stabilisation, more displaced families go come back home to enjoy their land again. Di military go continue to dey fight against Boko Haram to restore order for di North-East.
