No be small thing o! Plateau State Governor, Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang don launch one big education initiative wey go change the lives of many students. Dem don send 200 students go India for better education under wetin dem dey call the Mutfwang Legacy Scholarship Scheme. This one na serious matter, and e fit change dem future!

For Jos on Tuesday, the governor hold ceremony wey no be small, as he officially wave dem goodbye. Dis scheme dey focus on Medical Sciences, Engineering, and ICT, and dem go study for Sanskaram University. E make clear say dis move na for the betterment of Plateau people, and no political wahala dey come join am. E talk say dem no manipulate selection; na merit dey rule!

Mutfwang dey follow the matter well well, as e talk say everybody wey dey go na because dem don work hard. E said, “We no allocate slots to politicians, local governments, or any kind of institution. Plateau get fine brains wey fit represent us well. Dis selection no get any political or ethnic bias!”

The students wey don carry dem bag and wahala, de governor use the opportunity to advise dem to stay disciplined and grounded. E tell dem say, “Wetin God dey carry give you na wings to fly. Carry your education serious, because Plateau State and Nigeria dey depend on you.” Na motivational talk wey go fire dem up!

Mutfwang also shout out new education plans wey dey come for 2026 budget wey go support the students too. E talk say dem go create special research fund for Plateau indigenes and expand postgraduate programmes for Plateau State University. Na big plans wey go make educational ground strong for the state!

Commissioner for Education, Dr. Kachollom Pyam Gang, join the celebration as e call the scholarship scheme historic, say no past government don dey do am like this before. Acting Executive Secretary of the Plateau State Scholarship Board, Nankus Adams Ngwalang, self dey happy say dis programme na wetin even dey change the game for scholarship opportunities! One of the parents, Mr. Fabong Adanchin, wey no hide him feelings, come praise Mutfwang style. “I no support your campaign last time, but your leadership don change my mind.
