Four pipo don die for one serious motor accident wey happen for Ogun State. The accident happen for Thursday morning for Abeokuta-Sagamu Expressway, close to Mowe area. According to Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Ogun State Command, the crash involve one Toyota Camry car and one Mazda bus.
FRSC Sector Commander, Anthony Uga, confirm say the accident happen around 7:30am. Im talk say the Toyota Camry driver dey overspeed and im lose control, enter the other lane wey dey oncoming traffic. The car then collide with the Mazda bus wey dey carry passengers. Four pipo wey dey inside the two vehicles die on the spot, while another six pipo get serious injuries.
Emergency responders from FRSC and Ogun State Ambulance Service quickly rush to the scene. Dem carry the injured pipo to Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital (OOUTH) for treatment. The dead bodies dem don deposit for the hospital mortuary. FRSC officials spend hours to clear the wreckage from the road and restore normal traffic flow.
Anthony Uga use this opportunity to warn all motorists for Ogun State. Im talk say overspeeding na one of the main causes of road accidents for Nigeria. Im advise drivers to always obey speed limits, especially for expressways like Abeokuta-Sagamu road wey get heavy traffic.
