Di President of di Abia State chapter, Dr. Alaede Godwin, come yarn say dem gather for extraordinary meeting for January 8, 2026, to talk about di wahala wey dey happen. Dem no gree throway any chance again, as government dey continue to ignore their matter, despite all di negotiation wey don happen.
As dem wan comot for work starting from midnight, January 12, 2026, Alaede talk say na to fight for wetin dem believe in. He explain say, “We dey talk about serious issues like promotion arrears and di reinstatement of five doctors wey dem sacked for Lokoja. Na dis kind treatment no suppose dey for healthcare professionals!”
Dem don soji on top plenty demands: make government settle di salary wey dey behind, implement di professional allowance, and make sure say doctors no dey suffer because of wetin wey dey happen again.
Alaede still talk say, “We dey regret any wahala wey this strike fit cause for di public, but una sabi say our hands dey tied. If dem fit show serious commitment to address our issues, we go fit talk.” Dem dey ready to comot service till dem see serious action from di federal government.
