ABUJA, Nigeria – Mawaƙin Najeriya Darlington Achakpo, wanda aka fi sani da Speed Darlington (Akpi), ya samu ‘yancinsa daga gidan yari na Kuje a Abuja. An sanar da hakan ne a ranar Talata da yamma ta hanyar shafin sada zumunta na lauyansa, Stan Alieke.
An samu rahoton cewa an saki mawaƙin ne bayan ya cika duk sharuɗɗan belin da Kotun Koli ta Tarayya ta Abuja ta ba shi a ranar Laraba da ta gabata. “Mun yi farin cikin sanar da cewa abokinmu, Mista Darlington Achakpo wato Speed Darlington (Akpi), ya sami ‘yancinsa bayan watanni biyu na tsare shi ba bisa ka’ida ba,” in ji lauyan.
“A matsayin ƙungiyar lauyoyinsa, za mu yi amfani da duk wata hanyar doka don tabbatar da cewa ya sami adalci game da haƙƙin ɗan adam da aka hana shi daga hannun ‘yan sandan Najeriya da kuma rashin adalcin da aka yi masa,” ya kara da cewa.
Darlington ya samu kama a ranar 27 ga Nuwamba yayin wani wasa a Owerri, Jihar Imo. An kama shi ne saboda zargin cin mutuncin wani mawaƙi, Burna Boy, wanda ainihin sunansa shine Damini Ogulu.
“‘Yan sanda sun kai Speed Darlington kotu. An yi amfani da belin kuma aka ba shi. Muna ƙoƙarin cika shi,” in ji lauyan game da belin da aka ba shi a makon da ya gabata.

Kotun ta yanke hukuncin cewa kama da tsare Darlington ya zama “cin zarafi” ga haƙƙinsa na mutunci, ‘yanci, magana, da motsi a ƙarƙashin Babi na IV na Kundin Tsarin Mulkin Najeriya.
