The main mission of NNN is to provide accurate and impartial news in Nigeria. We want to ensure that we report what is happening in Nigeria in a way that corrects misconceptions and increases knowledge about important events in our country. We believe that the way to do journalism properly is to be truthful and to gain the trust of the people. People will trust media that is truthful and honest in its reporting.

Our news staff are honest, fair, and courageous in gathering, reporting, and disseminating information that is useful to everyone. They work with integrity and strive to ensure that the information they provide is accurate, fair, and complete. They seek out and report the truth. Our news staff work independently but are nevertheless accountable and transparent. Truth is the foundation of the newspaper and our news staff strive hard to ensure that they know the truth about every issue and incident.
