Di family of di late woman don accuse am say na im kill her during one fight. Dis allegation don provoke fear for di pastor’s safety as dem don lodge formal complaints at di police station.
SP Bright Edafe, di state police spokesperson, explain say di claims against di pastor, say im kill im wife, na nothing but social media propaganda. Di police confirm say di pastor na di one wey report di incident. E call di police on Monday morning to tell dem say his wife fall sick and die. According to Edafe, di police no get any reports of confrontation between di couple.
“We no get any report of any fight with di husband,” Edafe tok. “Di husband reach out to us dis morning, and e say his wife been dey sick before she die. Although di family dey threaten to attack am, we don put am for protective custody for im safety.”
Di police don also announce say dem go conduct autopsy on di body wey dey for mortuary to confirm if Shimite die from natural causes or wetin else happen. “For now, we dey consider di death as natural death,” Edafe add. Dis development come as social media dey spread rumors suggesting say di late woman die from domestic violence after her family claim she confront her husband.
