Ibadan, Oyo State – The management of Oyo State College of Nursing Sciences, Eleyele, don confirm say 75 students from their school don benefit from the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND). Dis announcement happen on Friday, as dem meet for the college premises for Ibadan.
The provost of the college, Gbonjubola Owolabi, talk dis matter during a meeting with the management staff, as she share the good news through Dotun Oyelade, the state Commissioner for Information and Orientation. Owolabi say, “This is to inform the college that we received the loan funds for 75 students yesterday (Thursday).”
Owolabi express gratitude to NELFUND for the support wey dem give to the students, saying, “78 students apply, but 75 benefit from the loan programme. Our college dey grateful for dis assistance.”
She further highlight say, “Dis strategic effort aim to make sure say students wey really need money fit continue their education without stress. Dis loan go help reduce the burden of financial constraints.”
According to her, the college go invite the loan beneficiaries to a meeting for proper documentation of all the students wey apply for the 2025/2026 session. “NELFUND don pay about 96% of the full fees for the students wey apply for the loan. Dis one no be small achievement,” she add.
Owolabi also use this opportunity to encourage other students to apply for NELFUND loan, as e go ease their educational journey. “Make una no slack; apply for dis loan and enjoy good education without the wahala of money matter,” she concluded.
