Abuja, Nigeria – E get wahala for di paramilitary recruitment as 221,996 candidates no pass di final computer-based test (CBT) wey happen from 12 to 19 November 2025. Dis test na part of di recruitment exercise wey involve four paramilitary agencies: Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS), Federal Fire Service (FFS), and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).
According to di Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB), dem get over 1.8 million applications, but only 1,120,491 go pass di screening to participate for di CBT. Na true say plenty people dey try enter government work, but wetin we go call di wahala wey con follow?
Dem say out of di total wey participate for di CBT, 71.8% write di exam, but 18.5% gree no show up. Na wah! Plus, dem flag 5.4% of dem for violating rules during di test. Di heavy participation show say na serious matter for all 36 states and di Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
As usual, some states rush pass others for application, like dem wey lead. Nigeria Immigration Service dey top di chart with 703,499 applications, while NSCDC no far behind with 482,198. But if we look for di states wey no fit gather enough applications, na Bayelsa with 11,683, Rivers 14,337, and Lagos with 22,244 be di bottom three.
Government officials don dey encourage citizens wey dey between 18 and 35 years to apply, talk say dem go check dem height (1.65m for men, 1.60m for women), and wether dem clean for criminal record. Educational qualification na at least SSCE with credits, plus those wey get degrees for law, engineering, medicine, or technical trades get special sweet interest from di board.
Dis recruitment wahala dey show clearly say people wan join di federal paramilitary roles, but with over 221k wey no fit pass, e mean say dem plenty wey still need work. Na only time go tell if dem go fit get am next time or we go see dem again for another round of test.
