At the unveiling of new coach Joaquin Caparrós, wey replace Garcia Pimienta, Orta explain the rationale behind Iheanacho’s signing, noting, “I want to clarify that the first two strikers were brought in as complements, to be practically the third striker, because there was a starter like Youssef and another striker who later appeared, like Isaac.”

Desperate for resurgence, Iheanacho move to Middlesbrough on loan, where him start to show signs of improvement under Championship level. He recorded one goal and two assists in recent outings, but consistency still dey elusive.
