Kamfanin NNPC ya yi bayani kan dalilan da suka hana kamfanin kammala aikin gyaran masana’antar man fetur ta Port Harcourt.
Barely two months after the September completion deadline flop, the Nigerian National Petroleum Commission has explained why it could not deliver the much-awaited Port Harcourt Refinery Company.
A cikin wata hira da wakilin mu ranar Litinin, Olufemi Soneye, Babban Jami’in Hulda da Jama’a na NNPC, ya ce kamfanin ya fuskanci matsaloli da tsorona a lokacin da yake gudanar da gyaran aikin, saboda ita ce aikin brownfield.
“Kun tuna cewa kamfanin NNPC ya kammala aikin gyaran na’urar masana’antar PHRC da dama da watanni da yawa. Bayan haka, mun fara aikin komishin na na’urorin da sashen sarrafa,” in ya ce.
“Haka kuma, kamar yadda ake yi a aikin brownfield na irin wannan girma da juyin halitta, mun fuskanci tsorona da matsaloli ba a saba da su ba,” in ya kara.
Duk da haka, ya ce matsalolin da aka fuskanta suna samun maganin hali, kuma aikin komishin ya fara aikin komawa.
“Wannan matsalar ta rigaya an warke ta, kuma aikin komishin ya fara komawa. Aikin da ake gudanarwa yanzu shi ne don tabbatar da kammala aikin wannan aikin muhimmi,” in ya ce wa wakilin mu.
An tambaye shi idan akwai wata alama ta kammala aikin, ya amsa, “Da dadewa ba zai wuce ba.”
An lura cewa NNPC ta kasa baiwa wata alama ta kammala aikin, bayan ta fuskanci kasa daidai lokacin da ta kasa cika alamun lokaci sabon sabo.
Masana’antar man fetur ta Port Harcourt, wacce ta kasance a matsayin maras ta yi aiki shekaru da dama, ita ce daya daga cikin masana’antun uku da Gwamnatin Tarayya ke gudanarwa kuma NNPC ke sarrafa.
Nijeriya suna da matukar fata a cewa farashin man fetur zai ragu idan ƙasar ta fara sarrafa man fetur daga kasa da kawo ƙarshen shigo da kayayyakin sarrafa daga waje.
