ABUJA, Nigeria – Beatrice Nwanneka Ekweremadu, matar tsohon mataimakin shugaban majalisar dattijai Ike Ekweremadu, ta dawo Najeriya bayan an sake ta daga gidan yari a Burtaniya, kamar yadda rahotanni suka nuna.
Rahotanni sun nuna cewa matar dan majalisar ta dawo ranar Talata, inda ta samu liyafa da addu’o’i don lafiyar mijinta wanda har yanzu yana cikin gidan yari.
Beatrice da mijinta sun samu hukuncin daurin shekaru shida da goma bi da bi a watan Mayu 2023 saboda laifin safarar kwayoyin halitta da sayar da su. Sun yi kokarin sayar da koda daga wani yaro dan Najeriya domin a yi wa ‘yarsu Sophia.
An yanke wa Beatrice da Ike Ekweremadu da kuma wani likita mai suna Obinna Obeta hukuncin daurin shekaru a kotun Burtaniya saboda hannu a wannan lamari. Mijin ya samu hukuncin shekaru goma yayin da matarsa ta samu shekaru shida, duk da cewa ta yi iƙirarin rashin lafiya a kotu.
Hukuncin da aka yanke wa Ekweremadus shi ne na farko a karkashin dokar Burtaniya ta ‘Yancin Dan Adam ta 2015. Hukuncin ya zo ne bayan roÆ™on da wasu manyan mutane da cibiyoyi suka yi, ciki har da tsohon shugaban kasa Olusegun Obasanjo da kungiyar ECOWAS. Sauran masu roÆ™on sun hada da majalisun dokokin Najeriya, shugabar hukumar ‘yan Najeriya a kasashen waje Abike Dabiri-Erewa, da kuma hukumar kare hakkin dan Adam ta duniya (IHRC).
