LAGOS, Nigeria – A cewar rahoton da Africa: The Big Deal ya fitar, mata masu kafa kamfanoni a Afirka sun sami kashi huɗu na kuɗin da aka samu a shekarar 2024 idan aka kwatanta da shekarar da ta gabata. Wannan adadin shine mafi ƙanƙanta tun lokacin da aka fara tattara bayanan kuɗi a shekarar 2019.
Yayin da mazan masu kafa kamfanoni suka sami sama da dala biliyan biyu a cikin shekarar 2024, ƙungiyoyin da suka ƙunshi mata da maza sun sami dala miliyan 121, yayin da kamfanonin da mata suka kafa su kaɗai ko kuma ƙungiyoyin mata suka sami dala miliyan 21 kacal.
Afirka ta Kudu da Saharar Afirka tana ɗaya daga cikin yankuna mafi yawan mata masu harkar kasuwanci a duniya, amma wannan ba ya bayyana sosai a fagen kamfanoni. Ba kawai mazan suka fi kafa kamfanoni ba, har ma mafi yawan kuɗin da ake bayarwa yana zuwa ga mazan.
Sarah Dusek, Manajan Janar na Enygma Ventures, ta bayyana cewa, “Akwai ƙa’idodi na musamman da ake buƙata don samun kuɗin zuba jari. Mata sun fi saba da karɓar bashi da tallafi, amma ba su da masaniya game da yadda ake samun kuɗin zuba jari.”
June Angelides, wacce ta kafa Levare Ventures, ta amince da wannan ra’ayi, inda ta bayyana cewa mata kan yi ƙasa a gwiwa lokacin da suke neman kuɗin zuba jari. “Yawanci mazan suna neman ƙarin kuɗi fiye da mata, kuma wannan yana nuna a cikin adadin kuɗin da suke samu,” in ji ta.
Duk da wannan, akwai bege. Masu zuba jari sun fara ganin fa’idar ƙungiyoyin da suka ƙunshi mata da maza, kuma wasu suna ɗaukar matakan ƙara yawan mata a cikin kamfanoninsu.
