Masarautar Finland ta kama Simon Ekpa, wanda ake kira Prime Minister na Biafra Government in Exile (BRGIE), a ranar da ta gabata saboda zargin da ake masu na shirin aikata laifin da niyyar terorism. Wannan kamawar ta ja hankalin manyan masu magana a Najeriya, inda lauyoyi suka ce masu ba da gudummawa ga Ekpa suna da laifi na terorism.
Lauyoyi Ayo Ademiluyi ya bayyana cewa wadanda ke ba da gudummawa ga Ekpa suna da laifi na terorism saboda kungiyar BRGIE ta kasance kungiya da gwamnatin Najeriya ta haramta. “Dangane da hukuncin da aka yi, wadanda ke ba da gudummawa ga Ekpa suna da laifi na terorism,” in ji Ademiluyi.
Kungiyar Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) ta fitar da wata sanarwa ta nuna musanta Ekpa, ta ce Ekpa bai ta shiga kungiyar IPOB ba kuma bai ta da alaka da ita. IPOB ta zargi Ekpa da kirkirarwa na ‘yan fashi da masu garkuwa da mutane don kawo rudin cikin yankin Kudu-Maso Gabas. “Simon Ekpa ya ce ya yi wa kungiyar IPOB alhaki, amma gaskiya shi ba memba ne na kungiyar IPOB,” in ji wakilin IPOB, Emma Powerful.
Gwamnatin jihar Enugu ta yabda godiya ga gwamnatin Finland saboda kamawar Ekpa, ta kuma bayyana cewa Enugu tana da shirin bayar da shaida a kan Ekpa domin taimakawa wajen shari’ar sa, ko a Finland ko a Najeriya. “Simon Ekpa ya kasance mai laifi, barayin, da mai kisan kai, wanda ke cikin farin ciki da kisan mutane na rayuwarsa,” in ji gwamnatin jihar Enugu.
