One event wey carry plenty wahala be Better Education Service Delivery for All (BESDA) wey happen for Kano. The whole place dey burst with joy when the governor announced sey dem go confirm 4,315 volunteer teachers as permanent staff. Just like that! Phew, sey na wah! No more chalk and no pay for dem!
Na only this year, him don absorb 5,500 BESDA teachers last year, 5,632 in 2024, and 4,000 in May 2025. Na total of 19,447 teachers don become full-time workers for di state. This one no happen before for Kano, chai!
But e no stop there. Governor Yusuf also order say 2,616 more qualified teachers go join the workforce — dem dey serious! This one go fit correct the wahala wey dey between teachers and pupils for the classrooms.
As if say na small change, di governor don drop a whopping ₦4.3 billion intervention fund for schools. Wetin e go cover? You fit dey ask. ₦429.9 million go make sure say pikin dem no dey starve for boarding school, ₦705.8 million to rebuild Government Secondary School for Kwankwaso and ₦1.14 billion to give all Primary 1 pupils uniform. No more say rich pikin dey shine, poor pikin dey dull!
The governor even release ₦1.62 billion to fix di schools wey fire don burn. E don make everybody dey smile again! E also go use ₦3 billion to open and upgrade boarding schools. Even di classrooms dey get small face-lift now. Imagine civilians dey paint your classroom; no be small vibes!
For the 2025 NECO exams, Kano students don shine bright like diamond, dem carry first position for Mathematics and English across di whole country. No be wah! Observers dey talk say na all di work wey di governor do don yield sweet results.
For BESDA event, everybody dey feel di pin and joy. Teachers dey shout, parents dey cry, and civil servants dey hail di governor as hero wey don bring back hope.
From empty accounts wey get only ₦9,000 when Governor Yusuf take over, now dem dey pour billions inside education. This one na real miracle wey go change di story of Kano for di better.
Di governor dey carry di education sector on him back, making sure sey dem use money to boost education, healthcare, and infrastructure. Even with di hala about corruption and wahala, e no gree relent. Wetin remain now? Just watch as Kano become di champion of education for Nigeria!
