Di state Commissioner for Information, Ibrahim Waiya, yarn dis matter after dem meet for Executive Council last Friday night. Him talk say Ganduje and Jibrin don dey make bad statements wey fit shake security for di state. Dem say dem comments dey reckless and go fit spoil di effort wey President Tinubu and di Kano government dey make to secure di people dem (who send dem to go carry this wahala?).
Waiya no slack as him go full ground in di meeting, say dem comments too fit lead to trouble. As dem dey talk, na im be say suspected bandits carry body enter some border villages for Kano. E make di government to suspect say di statements fit no be coincidence, but rather di thing get planned gist behind am.
Ganduje no gree joke as e respond, call di arrest request baseless and reckless. Him talk say dis call dey show say di current governor dey run away from hin responsibilities. “Instead of fixing di insecurity wey dey scatter everywhere, na small matter dem dey use put am for my head. E mean say di governor no fit handle di issues wey concern di people,” Ganduje talk. Na wa oh, wetin dem dey find?

E come out through him media aide, Ismail Mudashir, clear say di allegations dey baseless and dem dey try spoil him name. “We challenge dem make dem bring prove of di statement wey Ganduje and I make wey dey undermine security. No be so we dey find wahala,” him yarn.
Jibrin even drop plenty reasons wey him don dey support security for Kano. Him dey give vehicles and motorcycles to police, help renovate dem stations and even support DSS (nasuwa security dupy parba!). Heh, him still dey call di current governor to focus on wetin dey concern di state instead of dey chase shadows.
