Gateway Blvd./Abercorn St. to rescue stranded car wey no fit waka because of flooding. No injury report but everywhere don wet, no be small.

Flash Flood Warning don dey float around, and as dem talk am, “Turn around, don’t drown!” Na true talk be that o! This one na warning wey suppose make drivers shine their eye. People like Quinn Greene, wey come visit Savannah, don experience the wahala first-hand. She say her car waka no more because water don dey rise high-pass her head.

Greene talk say, “My car no dey start at all and water dey spew out from my exhaust pipes.” Chai! As she dey talk, you fit hear the pain for her voice. She come find out say plenty small cars dey like her own wey don jam the same flood.

Na wetin we go call high water signs follow road! Dem post am for areas wey flood fit catch dem unaware. Greene dey feel as if she go dey stranded for Savannah forever. E no dey easy at all! But no worry, Savannah dey shine like diamond, even with this rain wahala.

West of the city, students for Savannah State University get flash flood warning come noon time. Dem dey tell everybody make dem dey careful. Road no dey fully flood, but every corner of the campus still feel the rain wahala. Students still dey parambulate outside like say na normal weather, all decked out for rain.

Remember say dis Sunday na special one for rainfall because Savannah catch more rain in one day than all the month of September. E no be joke! People waka dey ginger themselves despite the weather; na true Naija spirit.

The rain no stop there. Another round of scattered showers dey show face as night dey fall, and some more rain fit drop for Monday. Coastal flooding dey also dey gree as high tide dey come, make dem shine their eyes well well.

As for the weather forecast, we still dey expect dry air and sun go begin shine by midweek. People fit see temperature reach mid to high 80s. But watch out, cold front dey gather for end of the week, dey bring different wahala too. Na so this Savannah rain matter dey go.
