Gwamnatin tarayyar Najeriya ta fitar da umarni ta hana fitowar gas na nauyi (LPG) daga kasar, a matsayin wani ɓangare na jawabai da take yi na rage da farashin gas a kasar. Umarnin da aka fitar a ranar Talata, wanda zai fara aiki daga ranar 1 ga watan Nuwamba, 2024, an fitar da shi ne ta hanyar Ministan Jihar Mai na Gas, Ekperikpe Ekpo, a wani taro da ya yi da masu ruwa da tsaki a Abuja.
Ekpo, a kai a kai da wakilinsa Louis Ibah, ya bayyana cewa gwamnati ta yanke shawarar hana fitowar LPG domin kawo karin gas ga amfani na gida, wanda hakan zai rage farashin gas ga talakawa. A halin yanzu, farashin gas ya kai N1,500 kwa kilo, wanda ya ninka farashin da yake a shekarar 2023.
Umarnin ya bayyana cewa kamfanin NNPC Ltd. da sauran masu samar da LPG za ayyana su daina fitowar LPG da aka samar a gida, ko kuma su fitar da kaso iri daya da aka fitar a farashi da ke nuna tsada. Haka kuma, Hukumar Kula da Midstream da Downstream na Man Fetur a Najeriya (NMDPRA) za ta hada tsarin farashi na gida na LPG a cikin kwanaki 90, wanda zai nuna tsada na samar da LPG a gida maimakon yin amfani da kasuwannin waje.
A matsayin wani ɓangare na samfurin dogon lokaci, gwamnati ta bayyana cewa za a gina sababbin wuraren hada, ajiya, da kawo LPG a cikin shekara guda, wanda hakan zai tabbatar da samar da gas da tsarin farashi.
Ekpo ya ce matakin da aka ɗauka zai kare talakawa daga matsalar tashin hauhawar farashin gas, wanda ya kai ga karin farashi na kayan abinci da sauran abubuwan bukata na gida.
