The Federal Institute of Industrial Research, Oshodi (FIIRO), tare da Premium Breadmakers Association of Nigeria (PBAN), sun kaddamar da kamfen din neman hanyoyin da za a maye gurbin amfani da alkama a Nijeriya. Wannan taron, wanda aka gudanar a ranar 23 ga watan Nuwamba, 2024, ya mayar da hankali kan amfanin amfani da fawa da sauran abubuwan da za a iya maye gurbin alkama.
Dr. Yemisi Asagbra, Darakta Janar na FIIRO, ya bayyana cewa sun nuna cewa fawa flour yana iya amfani, amma aiwatar da shi ya dogara ne da nufin bakers da goyon bayan masu ruwa da tsaki.
PBAN ta bayyana damuwar ta game da tsadar alkama da kuma yadda ya ke kawo matsala ga masana’antar bread a Nijeriya. Sun nemi goyon bayan gwamnati da masu ruwa da tsaki wajen aiwatar da hanyoyin maye gurbin alkama.
Taron dai ya taru masu ruwa da tsaki daga fannoni daban-daban na tattalin arzikin Nijeriya, suna neman hanyoyin da za a samar da masana’antar bread ta zama mara kyau da tattalin arzikin gida.
