Abuja, Nigeria – The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), through the Abuja Metropolitan Management Council (AMMC), don order Myra Event Centre for shutdown immediately because dem dey cause noise pollution.
Mr. Felix Obuah, wey be the coordinator of AMMC, share the news for statement wey he release on Thursday for Abuja. He talk say the event centre wey dey for Plot 135, Mustapha Bello Street, Guzape, dey disturb the environment with noise, especially for night time, plus other violations. He confirm say the centre go remain closed until further notice.
Obuah state say dis action na part of dem ongoing efforts to address noise pollution and other environmental wahala for the capital. He emphasize say the FCTA get zero tolerance policy for any actions wey fit disturb public health and community peace.
“We dey advise all event centres make dem no dey cause noise pollution. Dem need to operate according to the environmental laws wey govern dem,” Obuah talk. He add say any event centre wey continue to disturb the peace go face closure plus the necessary penalties.
He also urge the residents of FCT to report any environmental violations through AMMC official channels. “Na collective effort we need to protect our environment for the sake of everybody,” he emphasize.
Dis directive fit send message to other event centres to adjust their operations to avoid similar actions in the future. The AMMC dey serious about enforcing environmental guidelines to ensure the peace and health of all residents in the capital.
