ABUJA, Nigeria — Tope Olukole, personal assistant to renowned Juju music legend Ebenezer Obey, has debunked rumors regarding the artist’s death. Olukole confirmed the singer is alive and well during an interview with TVC News Senior Reporter, Theophilus Elamah, on Monday evening.
“Let’s set the record straight: Ebenezer Obey Fabiyi is alive and thriving! He recently celebrated a joyous occasion — the 50th birthday of his second child’s spouse. Rumors of his passing are baseless and entirely unfounded. We’re glad to see him active and well,” Olukole stated.
Meanwhile, President Bola Tinubu has recently returned to Nigeria after a two-week working trip to France. His presidential jet touched down at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport at approximately 9:40 PM Nigerian time.

Upon landing, President Tinubu was greeted by key officials, including Secretary to the Government of the Federation George Akume, Minister of FCT Nyesom Wike, National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila, and Minister of Budget and Economic Planning Atiku Bagudu.
During his time in France, President Tinubu focused on assessing his administration’s midterm performance, reviewing ongoing reforms, and engaging in strategic planning in preparation for the second anniversary of his administration, according to Bayo Onanuga.
