Fuel Price Hike: Nigerians dey Cry Out Over Hunger, High Transport Fares

Nigerians dey face serious hardship as fuel price don increase sharply, and dis one dey affect many areas of life. In Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, people now dey buy fuel between N1,200 and N1,500 per litre, according to recent reports.

This hike in fuel price dey cause significant increase in transport fares and cost of living. Many Nigerians dey lament say dey no fit afford basic necessities again. The high cost of fuel dey push up prices of goods and services, making life harder for ordinary people.

Former Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi, recently speak out against the economic hardship Nigerians dey face. He express disappointment say people no dey react enough to the rising costs of living. However, the All Progressives Congress (APC) slam Amaechi, saying his comments dey incite anarchy and unpatriotic.

The APC say Amaechi’s comments dey hypocritical, especially since he hold high-ranking government positions for over two decades. They argue say the current economic reforms by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration dey show positive signs and Nigerians should be patient.

Medical experts also warn say the fuel price hike and economic hardship could worsen health crises, like the recent cholera outbreak, if proper precautions no dey taken. Increased travel during holidays like Eid-el-Kabir could lead to a surge in cholera cases if not managed well.
