Di faction of di Peoples Democratic Party wey dey led by di Minister of Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, don withdraw dia support for President Bola Tinubu ahead of di 2027 general elections. Na di National Publicity Secretary of di Wike-led faction, Jungudo Mohammed, tok dis matter on Monday during interview for Channels TelevisionMorning Brief‘ programme.

Mohammed insist say dem no dey support President Tinubu, e con stress say PDP go field im own presidential candidate for di general elections. E talk say, “We no dey support President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for 2027 general election. We go do everything to field our own candidate. And I dey appeal to Nigerians make dem give us small time from now till when we go conduct our primaries.”

Di PDP spokesman add say, “All dis rumours about say we dey support APC or we be appendage of di APC go pass. Time go take care of all dis rumours and propaganda. Dem dey aim to either discredit di PDP or discredit di Honorable Minister of di FCT, Nyesom Wike.”
