Kaduna dey enjoy beta light as TCN don fix power line

Wetin dey sup for Kaduna now? Na better news we dey yan! TCN don finally restore the 330kV Shiroro–Mando Transmission Line 1. Dis news enter as people dey wait for better power supply wey don dey scarce like ‘gold’ for area.

For statement wey dem release, Ndidi Mbah wey be TCN Public Affairs General Manager, talk say dem fix di line on Saturday, 14 February 2026 around 3:27pm. Wetin dis one mean be say, power supply to Kaduna Electric don get serious boost! E mean say di wahala wey Kaduna folks dey face before don pepper dem less small.

As if dat one no reach, TCN still dey work on dis other line – the 330kV Shiroro–Mando Transmission Line 2. Na so dem promise say dem go finish am soon. Dis one go even make everything better, so we fit enjoy steady power wey no go dey waka pass go.

But wait o, no be only fixing power lines dem dey do. TCN dey also meet with traditional leaders for Kaduna, make dem help talk to people wey dey vandalise di lines. Na serious matter o! Dem don start community sensitisation campaign to tell people say make dem no dey build house or shop under di high-tension lines, sake of safety. Na who no wan live do dat kind thing?

Na so Nasir Fada, di General Manager for Transmission for Kaduna Region, talk am during him visit to di palaces of Alhaji Sani Musa (Sarkin Mando) and Aminu Idris (District Head of Rigasa). E caution dem say if dem continue to dey encroach on di RoW (right-of-way) areas, dem dey play with fire! Na no-go area, my people.
