Dem say analysis of phone wey dem use show say these five suspects, wey dem call Idris Abdulmalik Omeiza, Al Qasim Idris, Jamiu Abdulmalik, Abdulhaleem Idris, and Momoh Otuho Abubakar, dey around the church when the wahala happen. Na so the witness, wey dem name as ‘SSI’, come carry this matter come court, and he praise DSS say dem get beta evidence wey fit show say these guys no be just wahala-free people.
As he dey talk, him explain say phone conversation records dey clear, show say dem dey use their phones around the time of the attack. No be only that oh, the guys sef don spill beans when dem dey take statement, talk say dem no fit carry lawyer or family member to witness the session. Na wah!
The defense lawyer, Abdullahi Mohammad, try to argue say the statements no suppose enter court, but the judge wey dey handle matter, Justice Emeka Nwite, na him no gree. Him talk say trial-within-trial no go work because the issue wey dey ground no be about how dem take make the statements but about innocent or guilty. E be like say dem dey wan use tactic try and fool anybody.
SSI also talk say these suspects na members of ISWAP, and dem dey work together with one group wey call Al Shabab. As the matter dey go, na wetin dem carry beg us to hear, as dem confirm say after the attack, the fourth suspect come return the weapons wey dem use back to where dem borrow am.
The investigation show say na two vehicles dem use during the attack; one na borrowed car wey dem take go church and another wey dem snatch from one worshipper wey dey return from service to escape. Na thunder go fire bad people wey dey do this kind thing!
