Ogun State Don Launch Accident Investigation Department!

My people, make I tell you wetin dey happen for Ogun State. Dem don create new department wey go dey investigate road crashes all over di state! Edo set don talk say dis one na serious matter wey fit save lives and property.

The Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency, wey dem dey call TRACE, don launch Accident Investigation Department to tackle di palava wey dey happen for di major traffic roads. Na to find out wetin dey cause all dis crashes, so we fit sabi prevent am next time.

As di Acting TRACE Commander General, Elias Omonayajo, talk during di ceremony, dem don already deploy officers to three senatorial districts—Ogun Central, Ogun East, and Ogun West. Dis officers go start to investigate di crashes wey don happen for di previous year. He gist say, “After every crash, e get wetin we go find out. We don post officers wey go handle di wahala for their zones, so we go fit know di causes and fit inform di public.”

Omonayajo no dey joke o! E talk say before, dem dey just dey report wetin don happen. But now, dem don change style as dem wan focus on prevention. Sometimes, na potholes or trailers wey dey park for roadside dey cause di wahala. Dis time around, dem go follow up well-well!

Di gist no end there, o! Di TRACE Public Relations Officer, Commander Babatunde Akinbiyi, still yarn say dem don open Traffic Enlightenment Centre for Ota. Dis centre go help dey educate road users on how to stay safe before, during, and after accidents. E talk say, “Accidents no dey just happen by mistake. We need to dey spread awareness.”

Commander Akinbiyi emphasize say many crashes fit dey prevent if people sabi wetin to do. Dis centre na for promoting and sustaining lives and property. He add say e go dey focus on enlightenment even after any accident happen.

Also, Ogun West Zonal TRACE Commander, Commander Ajibade Adekunle, don promise say dem go do plenty programs to educate di public, especially young people and students. Na dem be di future, and dem need to sabi how to waka for road well!

Dem go share reflective jackets and educational materials for schools. Adekunle mention say dem go organize ‘train-the-trainers’ programs for teachers so dem fit spread di awareness reach even more children.

Finally, di Divisional Commander, Hammed Salau, take guests around di new Traffic Enlightenment Centre, show dem di facilities and how e go help make road use safer. Na dis kain community efforts go help tackle di matter wey dey plague our roads.
