This move no be small matter o, as na Abia State Governor Alex Otti camp dey support am. Dem don even accuse Julius Abure faction of wahala for trying to resist dem with their own kind of shakara.
Police wey carry guns don everywhere, dey control party supporters and journalists like say we dey for movie set. Dem clear all Abure’s banners like say dem wan build new house, replace am with Usman’s face! Na wah!
Usman self don confirm say na her camp call police make dem come help after court gree say she be acting chairwoman now. She say, “The police dey here for us o! Na dem court order carry dem come.”
But wait o, when dem ask how dem go take handle Abure faction wey dey fire back, Usman talk say “Abure don pack him load, we no go have any fight with am.” E mean say dem don dey chook eye for matter wey don change. She claim say no violence go happen.
After dem slack mouth, Usman and him people send invites to media make dem come watch the official takeover. Na big ceremony dem wan put for 11 am. This one go be like movie premiere for politics!
Deputy Governor, Emetu, don put mouth for matter too, say Labour Party dey open for anybody wey wan join. Him even call out President Tinubu say if e wan come, dem go welcome am. E like say dem dey play open house party!
But e no be everybody dey happy as Abure faction don talk say na police and hoodlums dem send come take over the place. Dem claim say na about 8 truckloads of police rush come scatter everywhere. E be like say politics don turn “who fit carry the bigger gun?”
Abure don dey shout say dem go appeal the court’s decision and say na violent takeover dem dey do, accuse Usman and Emetu say dem no get respect for law again.
Ifoh, Abure’s mouthpiece, don condemn the invasion and call for security agencies to quickly check wetin dey happen, say if dem no check am, we fit enter serious wahala wey fit affect our democracy. We no wan make this politics become like movie wey everybody go dey run waahala!
