Na military rule spoil everything, as dem come dey focus on oil rent instead of investing in agriculture and better projects. Wetin we see now? Lazy-governors wey dey wait for FAAC handouts each month. As for 2025, na only Lagos and Enugu fit survive without FAAC. For most states, na FAAC dem dey rely on for 55-70% of wetin dem dey spend!

Nigeria dey miss true federalism wey go carry development go state level, where dem go tailor policies to fit wetin people really need. If dem fit devolve powers wey dem no fit manage as e be currently—like power generation, railways and solid minerals—Nigeria go fit dey better.
Look di US, states dey flourish because dem fit tax, spend and manage dia affairs without waiting on federal body. Why our own go dey different? As e stand, our lazy governors no suppose collect handouts but should be innovative and focus on how to drive di country forward.
