My people, wetin happen for Bonny Island dey touch heart! NDLEA operatives don raid one serious drug den wey dem sabi as Ama Hausa, and e no be small wahala wey follow am.
For this operation wey happen on February 6, 2026, one brave NDLEA officer, Chief Narcotic Agent Sadiq Bako Mujahid, to cut story short, e don lose im life due to the madness wey burst when dem try arrest some drug dealers.
Dem catch six suspects, including one Genesis George Benson wey sabi as di gang leader. E no be joke, dem also nab 5 other guys: ThankGod Okon, Shamsudden Isah, Muhammed Musa, Adamu Muhammed, and Muhammed Yusuf. Na serious matter! Dem recover plenty drugs, like cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine, skunk, and tramadol. This no be “guy-guy” matter at all!
As di wahala dey go, na when dis Benson guy call in some hoodlums come disturb the NDLEA operatives. Na so dem begin fight, and unfortunately, Chief Mujahid go collect wahala for head. E rush am go hospital, but e no survive am. E really painful!
Brigadier General Mohamed Marwa, wey be the Chairman and CEO of NDLEA, come dey show respect to Mujahid for im courage when e dey face violence. E talk say, “We salute the gallantry of our men who refuse to be intimidated by these criminal elements.” E really mean am! E no easy to face these kind dangers and still dey stand strong.
Marwa still make am clear say, dem go deal with any wahala wey come for NDLEA officers. E talk say, “Any attack on our officers is an attack on the state, and it will not go without dire consequences.” We fit see say dem serious for this work!
As we dey mourn Chief Mujahid, we fit no forget to support di families of our fallen heroes. E no dey easy to lose person wey dey work to protect us from all these drug problems. May e rest in peace!
