Saleh talk say e don dey try for this NLNG trophy for serious, so this victory be like jackpot for am. Him yan say golf na better passion wey fit bring joy, discipline, and stress relief wey no get rival. Na wetin we call patience, passion and dedication join hand give am this trophy.
Make we talk about Lady Tobin, wey carry Ladies Division 1 title with net score of 75. E be like say Kafayat Bamimore dey jealous as she finish as first runner-up with 76. Lady Tobin no fit hide her joy, she express gratitude to the people wey organise am, say the way de designed the competition scatter yard, with skill, patience wey dey waka alongside the consistency. E no be small work, course no dey easy like that!
BIGC Captain, Abubakar Hussaini, no carry last. The man chop best gross prize with 80. And if we check ladies side, Nnena Ahube dey hold strong as she collect the ladies’ best gross prize. For the men wey dey follow second tier matter, Sonny Fombo don show say he serious as him take net score of 65 win the BIGC/NLNG Men’s Division 2. Oludare Oyegbami carry 73 come, but that one no gree hot the win!
For the ladies Division 2, Bessie Obei dey shine as she win with 74, while Marytina Osuchukwu no fit reach with 77. And if we shift join Guest men’s category, Ewache Iyoko no fit miss out as him take 68 net win dem, Michael Jaja dey follow with 74. Love Ndarake too dey chop results as she collect Guest ladies’ title with 72 net!
Now, let’s talk about veterans. Osa Cookey flex him muscles carry 74 net, while Mark Yalaju dey follow as first runner-up with 77. Florence Edeki no dey slack as she carry Veteran ladies’ category. Lami Ahmed wey just come take position as LGAN President, dey find people wey go sabi how to win as she finish first runner-up.
In technical prizes, Charles Uleh dey claim the longest drive award for men while Ochade Ajabor dey shine for ladies same award. Naah, Joshua Anemeje dey collect straightest drive award for men, and Bridget Ogwah dey chop am for ladies. Emmanuel Onyekwena dey carry nearest-to-the-pin award for men while Dr. Atiemie Braide-Lolomari dey follow dem for ladies side. Na wetin be say, these guys no dey play!
Dr. Sophie Horsfall, wey be Chief Host and NLNG General Manager, talk say the event dey bring together people wey dey play for same team, strengthening their bond.
