Kebbi Governor Don Release N1.8 Billion For Retirees Wehdon!

My people, make we gist about wetin dey happen for Kebbi State. This time, e get beta news wey dey come from Governor Nasir Idris side. Omo, the guy don approve over N1.8 billion for retirees and their families. This money na for gratuity, death benefits, and all those wahala wey dem dey owe dem. Wetin sweet pass be say, dem plan am in two stages, so no be small money o!

According to wetin we hear from Malami Shekare, wey be the Head of Service, and Rashidu Muhammad-Bala, wey sign the statement, dem pay na ₦933.03 million to 404 beneficiaries first phase, and after, another ₦932.95 million go 443 beneficiaries in the second phase. Na so dem dey support Lagos people and them family. E sweet to see how dem dey take care of workers wey don serve the state well.

This money wey dem release no come easy as retirees for all over naija don dey shout about how long dem dey wait for their own share. E no dey easy to collect retirement benefits when money dey scarce, as states dey struggle with old debts. Kebbi no dey left behind for this wahala, wey no be them started so long ago.

Since Governor Idris take over in 2023, e don make am clear say workers’ welfare dey top im priority list. E don start plenty measures to rekindle hope for public servants. Payment of entitlements no be small matter, especially death benefits. Families wey lose their breadwinners need this money to survive, no be small.

Ahmed Idris, wey be the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, don talk say this approval na for dem to clear all the backlog wey don gather over time. Na im dey show say Idris serious to “restore dignity to retirees and support families wey don face hard times.” E mean say this money go help lift some burden for beneficiaries as inflation dey rise and everything dey cost plenty.

Industry people wey dey watch the trend talk say dis kind of payment go help boost morale for public service. E go fit even improve relationships wey incomplete as we dey ginger workers dey settle down for ongoing reforms wey dey show for state bureaucracy. Na as e be, we go just dey watch how things dey unfold for Kebbi.
