E be like say dem promise plenty things, but gist wey dey fly now no too gree support wetin dem talk. E be like say dem dey play us for dance, as we dey see N54.9 trillion for spending wey no too match the reality wey dey face our economy.

E no pure, my people! Dis money wey dem dey talk don waka come down pass last year by 41.9% in naira, but na dollar matter na im be say naira don sabi devalue plenty. We dey see naira dey hover between N1,600/$ and N1,450/$, na ordinary forex wahala wey dey make this budget dey look like mirage.

President Tinubu come dey hail am as ‘ambitious but necessary’ budget, but wetin we dey see? N23.96 trillion dey waka go capital projects, but the streets and light no too gree shine. We also get wahala for infrastructure matter as N13.2 trillion deficit dey bite us, plus N14.9 trillion wey dey go as debt service!

See, oil money, wey suppose carry us like a gidigba, dey chop like this year bread wey small. Brent crude don drop to $70-$75 bucket, and naija non-oil revenue don waka comot like thief for night, no show face. Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway wey dem shout and clap for, na wetin dem don finish? Just 47km dey open but everywhere dey dance shakara with poor design and cost wey don skyrocket to N15 trillion!

Wetin I go talk about Bodo-Bonny Road wey don land? E don connect Bonny Island to mainland sharp sharp, but na so all our projects dey take feel fine fine o. Now, as 2026 dey flex e muscles, people dey vex for new tax reform bills wey no wan gree rest. Oil prices dey wobble like wetin dey dance for party, we come dey borrow like say tomorrow no go come!

This kind palava for infrastructure delivery wey just dey sit down for 30% na ya everywhere no dey alright. Naija need solid plan for revenue, stable project timeline, and serious security matter to fit get real change wey citizens fit feel.
