Hajiya Maryam Muhammed Abubakar, wey be the State Coordinator for Danmodi Mata Zalla, yan dis one for Gumel Local Government when dem hold event to celebrate four appointees. She no fit hide her mind as she dey vex say women involvement for politics dey low despite all wetin government dey do.
She talk say, “Danmodi/Tinubu Mata Zalla go help enlighten women to dey participate for political activities. Na we get 65 to 70 percent of all votes, so wetin make we no fit contest? Dis na our big chance!”
Abubakar no forget to praise Governor Umar Namadi wey dey try push for 30 percent women representation for appointments, plus free education for girls and empowerment programs. She talk say, “I dey thank the governor on top behalf of women for Jigawa, but we go need more of dis inclusion.”
For the same event, Alhaji Aminu Haruna wey be chairman of Lautai Progressive Citizens Forum, come talk say na to honour those wey don make waves for different positions. He don thank President Bola Ahmad Tinubu and Governor Umar Namadi for their leadership sabi.
He also talk say dem go mobilise support make sure women get their rightful place for politics come 2027. E be like say na serious game dem dey yan but as dem dey bring together over 2,000 opposition members from ADC, PDP, and NNPP wey don join APC, na here the matter dey sweet pass!
