Na the Minister of Water Resources and Sanitation, Engr. Prof. Joseph Terlumun Utsev, sabi lead the kind ceremony wey dey happen for these states.
Dey kick off wey dem do na to start the Bela Dam Project and Kaukau Drip Irrigation scheme for Bichi, Kano State. As dem gather for the ground, the Minister talk di whole gist and e even yarn sey dis dam go hold about 775,000 cubic metres of water. E go help fight flooding, support irrigation and even give water for our animals and farms.
Na serious matter o! Utsev dey talk say with dis dam, dem go fit change people dem life for better, improve food production and create jobs. Dem dey also plan to empower youths and women, so dem fit learn agriculture skills wey go help everybody shine. Closer to home, e commission modern training centre wey go dey train the youths on green technology and drip irrigation.
For Jigawa State, dem no slack too. The Minister come chop ground for Jahun Local Government Area to flag off the Drainage and Erosion Control Project. Dis one go fight flooding wey don dey scatter people farm before. Wetin e dey talk as e pray make di communities take ownership of di projects for dem future betterment.
As the Deputy Governor of Jigawa, Engr. Aminu Usman Gumel dey salute the Federal Government for di fine work dey do, e even talk sey this one go help reduce flooding and carry the local economy go higher. The Managing Director of HJRBDA, Rabiu Suleiman Bichi, comot cap for di President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and di Minister for all di support.
Dey launch dey attract plenty eyes too, as senior government officials, traditional rulers and farmers dey show face to celebrate.
