Olufeko don gather journalists for Ijebu-Ode, plus chieftains from him family, to yarn say that throne no be just leadership matter — e dey represent the whole culture, heritage, and identity of the Ijebu people. Hmmm, e no go funny if dem no fit do am well, because the people dey hunger for peace and unity.
‘We dey urge government to shine dem eye well, make dem no do anything wey go cause wahala for the community,’ Olufeko yan. He still dey hail Governor Dapo Abiodun for all the good work wey him don do for Ijebu-Ode, like turning that TASUED place into Federal University. Omo, na correct talk! Now, Ogun State officials don deny any form of interference, with the Commissioner for Local Government dey talk say dem no go allow anybody run any kind of play. Meanwhile, the kingmakers dey scrutinise over 1,200 documents from over 95 aspirants. This one no be small matter at all o!
Prince Tunde Ogidan, spokesperson for the Fusengbuwa ruling house, still talk say make nobody try carry bribe or politics enter the selection matter.
