My people, Lagos wey sabi traffic don land again, but no worry! This time, dem don bring correct plan to make sure say vehicles go dey move well during the ongoing makeup wey dey happen for Lekki-Epe Expressway. Governor’s guy, Mr. Sola Giwa, talk say make we no fear; dem go make sure say everything dey flow smooth for the 64 days wey this project go last.
According to Giwa, dem no go shut down the expressway o! Na just some small traffic control dem go take use manage things. He dey yarn say dem go focus on critical areas wey fit cause wahala, so everybody go fit waka true, no jam.
Dem don even deploy over 305 LASTMA operatives wey go dey on ground for the three main zones wey traffic dey happen. Dis wahala no be small- small, as di commissioner sabi say plenty cars dey use that road, thanks to all the big developments dey happen like Lekki Deep Sea Port and Dangote Refinery wey dey draw people and vehicles like moth to flame.
To tackle broken-down motors, dem don bring high-, medium-, and low-capacity recovery vehicles, wey include tow trucks wey go dey clear any wahala sharp-sharp. No be joke, dem go also use drone technology, so even if peeps no fit see traffic from ground, dem fit catch the gist from the sky!
Giwa no forget to talk about safety. E talk say dem don add better directional signs, good light, and other safety measures to make sure say all of us dey protected while dem dey do the work. Plus, Rapid Response Squad and Kick Against Indiscipline dey on ground to secure our lives and properties. Na real deal we dey talk here, my people!
Him also advise motorists to dey use alternative routes wey government don approve to ease the traffic wahala. Coaster Road from Ogombo through Abraham Adesanya na the recommended route wey dem suggest. E no dey easy, but patience na virtue, abeg make we dey obey traffic laws and work with LASTMA personnel wey dey try their best.
As dem dey talk, collective discipline go help us finish this rehabilitation work and manage traffic well. So make una keep calm, hold your brakes, and let’s ride this road upgrade together!
