Naija TVET Sector Don Call for Better Data Use for Education

Ogbonge stakeholders for Naija Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector don wake up to call for serious change wey go focus on using correct data dem to drive policy dem for education sector. Dis announcement come from wetin happen for big workshop wey Yaba College of Technology host recently.

For the workshop, dem showcase better digital platforms like ERP system and NBTE Digital Quality Assurance Platform wey go fit help governance for TVET institutions across the country. Dr Ibraheem Abdul, wey be the Rector of YABATECH, talk say we no fit dey rely on old-school data any longer, because wey we fit see, say digital infrastructure na the koko wey go make any educational policy work well.

Abdul come yarn say, ‘For today’s education vibes, we need quick access to correct data, no more gbenge data wey no fit stand ground.’ E emphasize say, without this serious data matter, institutions fit lose touch with wetin industry dey need and the bigger picture of national skill development.

Wetin him dey talk no be play; him come explain say integrated digital systems go help dem gather real-time data for student enrolment, graduation rates, and even for workforce planning.
