Dem say na symbolic move wey fit show how dem dey feel for di matter.
As Governor Chukwuma Soludo talk say anybody wey no show face for work on Monday go face punishment, IPOB no gree o! Dem don release statement through their spokesperson, Emma Powerful, wey clear say nobody fit turn wetin dey happen into war against di people’s dignity. Na so e be, my people!
Di statement wey IPOB drop, dem talk say Anambra no be military barracks. People no be tenant for their own land. Dem make am clear say no governor fit use force to make citizen do wetin dem no wan do, especially when dem just dey express their mind peacefully. Na civil disobedience, not terrorism!
IPOB dey vex say dem dey feel frustration and anger for wetin dey happen for Igboland, and dem no dey hide am. Dem insist say Monday sit-at-home na just a way to show dem no happy with how Mazi Nnamdi Kanu dey illegally detain. Collectively, dem dey carry dem burden for dem head. Dem sharply warn say if Soludo form any task force to enforce this punishment, e go dey cross serious red line.
Dem talk say di protest na choice, no be force. People wey dey stay house on Monday na because of wetin dem dey stand for – justice and freedom. IPOB remind us say Igbo people get sense; we sabi wetin honour and dignity mean, and wetin oppression feel like. Dem assert say the solution no dey for threat, but for justice – justice wey go bring Mazi Kanu back home.
Dem dey urge Soludo make he cool down and stop all di threats against Ndi Anambra and Ndi Igbo. Na him supposed protect di people, no be to dey provoke dem!
