As Soludo dey carry this matter, himikuwa dey represent am, na Patrick Agha-Mba, the Commissioner for Youth Development. E talk am during the swearing-in wey dem do for NYSC Camp, na for Mbaukwu/Umuawulu side. E don gather these new corps members, tell dem say make dem no just dey watch things dey happen, but make dem join body to learn and contribute plenty to Anambra growth.
Soludo talk say through plenty programs like Solution Innovation District and One Youth Two Skills Plus, dem dey open plenty doors for young people to shine. Na so dem go fit dey acquire skills, innovate and create wealth. Shey you sabi say dem dey target to empower one million youths with digital skills? Na serious work o!
For the first and second phases of the One Youth Two Skills Plus program, dem don also share N5.5 billion to support 13,300 youths start their business or expand the one wey dey. E clear say Soludo no dey play with youth empowerment at all! Him also tell the corps members say make dem hold on to the values wey dem go learn for camp, because na dem go determine how dem go utilize dem for future.
“Na correct life we also dey promote as we dey advise dem to respect local cultures, promote peace and carry themselves with dignity. True service no be to just show face, but wetin you fit do to change your community,” Soludo yarn.
And as e be, the NYSC State Coordinator, Mrs Pauline Ojisua, don talk say na 1,500 corps members don register for this batch wey dey happen now. She dey advise dem to obey camp rules, if not trouble go follow dem.
She come add say discipline na wetin go help dem survive this journey, as dem go dey do military drills, physical training and even sporting activities to keep body fit. Plus, the Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development Programme go help dem learn practical skills wey go serve dem well after NYSC.
