According to wetin Nze A. C. Madu, the igbo community leader talk for statement wey dem drop, dem dey show love and solidarity to Kanu and all the inmates for prison. Dem come gather enough food to make sure say all the 1,300 inmates enjoy the festive season. Na correct move!
As Kanu no wan chop alone, dem decide say e no go easy make only him dey chop plenty jollof rice and chicken while the other inmates dey look. Instead, dem give them with food wey go share for the whole prison and make everybody dey feel the Christmas vibe.
Dem talk say this gesture no just based on Kanu alone, but e dey remind us of wetin we call Onye Aghana Nwanne Ya – meaning ‘be your brother’s keeper’. Dis one no get time for ethnic or religious wahala, na pure humanitarian level e dey operate.
As dem dey do this charity matter, dem also hope say e go carry peace and unity to the community. E fit take small act of love to change the whole wahala wey dey happen for this country, dem dey reason am like dat.
