E start when 330kV transmission lines begin dey trip one by one, dey cause wahala for the power generation plants wey dey try hold our light. Before we sabi wetin dey happen, electricity generation drop from above 4,500 megawatts to as low as 24 megawatts. Omo, na real darkness we meet!
By 12:40pm, all 23 power plants wey dey connected to this grid pack their load. NISO come talk say dem don begin restoration activities by 1:15pm but as dem say trailing, no light for 11 distribution companies. Na to manage our wahala, so dem dey work hard to carry light come back.
Dem know say plenty people dey rely on light for everything, from charging phones to fridge wey dey keep our food. So, NISO no wan joke with this matter. Dem don start investigation wey go find out wetin really cause this total blackout. Dem promise say dey go make sure everything stable well well again.
As e be so, di restoration don reach some parts of obodo Naija like Abuja, Osogbo, Benin, Onitsha, Sakete, Jebba, Kainji, Shiroro and some parts of Lagos. But for some areas, na just wahala full ground, as dem dey try balance am.
Apart from all dis power wahala, e good to hear say Naija sey we fit invest small small for better profit. One gist wey don dey trend now na ₦2.5million investment wey fit give you return of ₦17-₦25 million in dollars. If you dey waka for road make you no pod the matter.
For NISO, dem don dey focus on how to restore the system and make sure say everybody dey enjoy light wey dem need. Na just patience and time we go need now. So, my people, make we dey look sharp, because naija light matter be this, e fit change from light to darkness in a snap!
