Omo! Na serious matter we get for corner today oh! Former Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Ibrahim Tanko Muhammad, don waka jare. He go meet his maker for hospital wey dey Saudi Arabia, as e no make am past the morning of December 16, 2025.

Abeg, make we no dey forget say na 71 years he don reach this world side before dem call am back. E be like say dis life no balance sometimes. Na so the news break eiyan, and e choke as di Nigerian Association of Muslim Law Students (NAMLAS) confirm say the matter na true.

Dem talk from their camp say Tanko Muhammad na correct person wey no joke with integrity and justice. Na him dey run show for di Nigerian judiciary before him hang di boot for 2022 due to health wahala. We go miss am well-well!

NAMLAS use strong words to describe di late CJN, say him na towering figure wey dey represent humility and commitment to correct values for law. E no just sit down for di Bench; him dey also mentor plenty young Muslim law students, turning dem into champions for di future.

As dem talk am, “To Allah we belong, and to Him we shall return”, we sabi say everybody go still face dis matter one day. NAMLAS still dey send condolences to im family, di judiciary, and all Nigeria wey value am.

Tanko Muhammad na person wey don see am all, he don serve as High Court Judge, Justice of di Court of Appeal, and finally, him go kpa di Chief Justice of Nigeria until June 2022 when health matter make am step down early. Di gists wey dey fly around talk say na serious sickness do am for hospital. We hope say e go find rest for afterlife.

Another wahala wey dey dey for di Supreme Court during him time na say 14 Justices dem accuse am say him no dey handle di court affairs well. Seriously, as dem carry letter come social media, e be like say no Court for Naija don see dat kind thing before. Dey still dey probe di matter as he don leave office!

Na wetin we go take learn from im legacy, na di way him carry di nation for head, e no be small thing. Him na correct example of wetin it means to serve with heart and mind. Him life dey remind us say goliaths fit fall, but di giants in our heart go dey live forever!
