Na wah oo! Federal Government don drop bombshell as dem announce ban on admission and transfer for SS3 students for all secondary schools wey be public and private. Dis matter dey hot as e fit big pass person wey dey chop hot pepper soup!
Dis new order wey dem release on Sunday go start for 2026/2027 academic session. Why? Dem say e be because of wahala wey dey around examination malpractice and all those ‘special centres’ wey people dey use do fraud for exams. Na wetin be special centre? Na place wey some students dey run go like say dem be superstar just to pass exam. But government no wan make dis kin no dey happen again!
According to di statement wey Boriowo Folasade, di Director of Press and Public Relations for Federal Ministry of Education sign, dem talk say no more admission or transfer into SS3. E mean say, if you no don enter school before now, you no go fit do join SS3 anymore!
Dem go only allow admission and transfer into SS1 and SS2. Na so dem wan stop students wey dey waka come school last minute, dey find advantage for exam matter. Dis policy go make sure say students learn well and no dey scam di system, na wetin dem dey call academic monitoring! E go make sure say teaching and learning dey flow like smooth palm oil.
The government don also yarn say school owners, principals, and administrators better take note. Dem don give dem sharp warning say anybody wey no follow di rule go face serious wahala. Dem go collect sanctions wey go pain dem, no be joke!
Dem dey serious about education reforms, no be small anything! Dis move na part of wetin dem dey do to carry credibility come back for public examinations across di country. Wetin sabi go fit carry mouth talk say dem no wan make anybody fool dem again.
So if you be student or parent, make you shine your eyes like cat! No be say you go dey jump up and down for SS3 anymore. E get level!
