Lagos State Government don explain why dem no join oda states wey dey challenge de power of de Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). According to Pedro, de Commissioner for Information and Strategy for Lagos State, joining de new suit alongside oda states go be abuse of court process.
Pedro say de matter between EFCC and Lagos State already dey court, and joining another suit go cause confusion and delay de legal process. Him emphasize say Lagos State dey committed to de rule of law and dey respect de judiciary, but dem no see de need to join de new suit.
Dis explanation come after some states file lawsuit against EFCC, challenging some of deir powers. But Lagos State decide to stay out of dis particular lawsuit to avoid any legal complications.
