President Bola Tinubu don announce di appointment of seven new ministers to im cabinet. Dis announcement come after di Federal Executive Council meeting on Wednesday.
Bianca Odinaka Odumegu-Ojukwu, di widow of late Biafran leader Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, been appointed as Minister of State for Foreign Affairs. Another notable appointment be Jumoke Oduwole, who now dey serve as Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment.
Aside from dem, five other individuals also get appointed as new ministers. Dey include Dr. Yusuf Tanko Sununu, who move from Minister of State, Education to Minister of State for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction; Dr. Morufu Olatunji Alausa, who move from Minister of State, Health to Minister of Education; and Barr. Bello Muhammad Goronyo, who now dey serve as Minister of State, Works after leaving di Ministry of State, Water Resources and Sanitation.
Other changes include Hon. Abubakar Eshiokpekha Momoh, who move from Minister of Niger Delta Development to Minister of Regional Development; Uba Maigari Ahmadu, who now dey serve as Minister of State, Regional Development after leaving di Ministry of State, Steel Development; and Sen. John Owan Enoh, who move from Minister of Sports Development to Minister of State, Trade and Investment (Industry).
In addition, Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim been appointed as Minister of Women Affairs, replacing Uju-Ken Ohanenye who been discharged. Ayodele Olawande now dey serve as Minister for Youth Development, while Dr. Salako Iziaq Adekunle Adeboye move from Minister of State, Environment to Minister of State, Health.
