President Bola Ahmed Tinubu don announce say Shehu Dikko go be the new Chairman of the National Sports Commission. Dis announcement come after the Federal Government decide to scrap the Ministry of Sports Development and bring back the National Sports Commission.
Shehu Dikko, wey be former Chairman of the League Management Company (LMC), go bring plenty experience to the new role. Him time at LMC, where him oversee professional football management for Nigeria, go help am to manage sports policies and administration for the country.
The change be part of bigger plan by the government to restructure and streamline sports management in Nigeria. The focus be on improving infrastructure, developing talent, and making Nigeria competitive internationally.
