Comrade Philip Shaibu, wey be de reinstated deputy governor of Edo State, don raise alarm over alleged last-minute looting of government resources under de administration of Governor Godwin Obaseki. Shaibu make dis announcement on Friday during a press briefing in Benin City.
Shaibu claim say he get evidence to back up de allegations of looting and last-minute borrowing from financial institutions. He express concern over de potential financial implications dis actions go fit have on de state’s economy.
To encourage people to come forward with information, Shaibu offer a reward of N1 million to anyone who can provide credible evidence of de alleged looting. He hope dis will help expose those involved and bring dem to justice.
